With an ideal location for tourism, the region of El Jadida is already home to a number of hotels, including the renowned Mazagan Resort and the Accor Hotel. The city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, which contributes greatly to its international reputation. The city also benefits from a number of national tourism development programs, like the “Azur” and “Biladi” plans, and also hosts numerous national and international events each year, like the Salon du Cheval (a horse show) and the Jawhara music festival.
The Mazagan City Center project backs this flourishing cultural scene by investing in diversity, and has pledged to create a number of new superstructures, including a convention center, an exhibition center, and an artisan’s village.
